Official Mobile Application for Indian Visa: Su-Swagatam

The Government of India has launched the “Su-Swagatam” Mobile Application to facilitate foreigners applying for Indian visas. The application provides the following visa-related services:

  • Apply for visa: Regular Visa, e-Visa, and Visa-on-Arrival (while in home country).
  • Access to frequently used e-FRRO services after arrival in India.
  • Useful information on tourist destination, government agencies and other amenities in India.
  • Registration of OCI card holders on Fast Track Immigration Trusted Travelers Programme (FTI-TTP) for faster, smoother and secure immigration clearance.

Salient Features of the Su-Swagatam (Visit India) Mobile App

  1. A one-stop solution to all visa-related requirements of foreigners.
  2. Integrated services providing single-point access for Indian Visa and eFRRO facilities, with value-added features.
  3. Location-based services for nearest tourist places, hotels, hospitals, yoga and spirituality centres, transport, and entertainment.
  4. Access to essential information on medical facilities, safety, police, hospitals, FRROs, and Embassies.
  5. User registration and facilitation with multilingual support in one foreign language.
  6. An eligibility and fee calculator for quick assessment.
  7. Facility to fill the e-Visa form with partial save option, and payment integration with Axis Bank and SBI.
  8. Facility to fill the Regular Visa online form with partial save option; documents and fees to be submitted at Indian Embassy or Consulate after printing.
  9. Facility to fill the Visa on Arrival form in Japanese, Korean, and Arabic, with PDF generation.
  10. Retrieval of partially filled e-Visa or Regular Visa forms across desktop and mobile platforms.
  11. e-Submission of Form-C applications for hotels, guest houses, and other accommodations hosting foreigners.
  12. Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Travellers Programme (FTI-TTP) for OCI card holders.
  13. Language assistance through text and audio (Google trial version).
  14. Optional switching on/off of location services.
  15. Chatbot facility covering FAQs and general instructions.
  16. Facility to check the status of e-Visa and Regular Visa applications, based on nationality, passport number, and date of birth, with Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) download facility.
  17. Alerts to foreigners regarding visa expiry: weekly alerts 30 days in advance and daily alerts 15 days in advance.
  18. Incorporation of Terms of Use and Privacy Policy in the application.
