    House of Glory podcast: Celebrating the legacy of Olympic hero KD Jadhav | Off the field News

    The “House of Glory” podcast series, in association with The Times of India, has been launched to celebrate the accomplishments and obstacles faced by Indian athletes as they prepare for the upcoming Paris Olympics. The inaugural episode, released on Tuesday, features an interview with Ranjit Khashaba Jadhav, the son of KD Jadhav, India’s first individual Olympic medalist who won bronze in wrestling at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics.
    Ranjit Jadhav shared his father’s Olympic journey, the challenges he faced, and how he became an inspiration for many athletes. The episode is hosted by Tushar Dutt, Assistant Editor of Sports at The Times of India.
    “House of Glory” aims to provide insights into India’s sports ecosystem through conversations with athletes, coaches, administrators, parents, and influential figures who contribute to the nation’s sports development.

    Speaking of the podcast series, Prasad Sanyal, Business Head, timesofindia.com, said, “With House of Glory, our aim is to not only highlight the achievements and challenges of sportspersons, but also inspire a whole new generation of athletes to chase their dreams.     The podcast series comes as Indian athletes prepare to compete in the Paris Olympics, aiming to inspire and encourage future athletes to pursue their dreams despite challenges. In addition to stories of success, the podcast will highlight the struggles and obstacles encountered by athletes, providing a comprehensive perspective on sports in India.
    “House of Glory” will feature guests from various aspects of the sports industry, including coaches, administrators, sponsors, and individuals who promote the growth of sports in India. These perspectives will provide an inside look at India’s sports ecosystem. The podcast will cover topics such as sports policies and infrastructure, showcasing conversations related to the country’s sports development.
    To enhance audience engagement, the podcast series will incorporate interactive elements like Q&A sessions, listener polls, and social media interactions. “House of Glory – The Sports Podcast” invites aspiring athletes, sports enthusiasts, and fans to immerse themselves in the world of Indian sports.
